This study used real-world data from the Queensland Oncology Repository for the period 2012-2021 to measure 28 quality indicators of healthcare for non-small cell lung cancer across the four dimensions of diagnosis, access, treatment and outcomes. Most of the endorsed indicators either remained stable or improved over time. The results can potentially drive change in aspects where improvements are needed, with the current benchmarks becoming even more important into the future when lung cancer screening is introduced in Australia.
